"Before we purchased our Kinetico water softener and drinking water system, even though we had another name brand water softener, we would have to clean our coffee maker every two weeks because of the scale and lime build up. The coffee pot had a film on the inside that would not come of of the inside without a lengthy soaking. After purchasing the K5 drinking system and water softener we no longer have the staining on the inside of the coffee pot and the coffee maker we only have cleaned once since our purchase in April 2016. The drinking system in my opinion is better that any bottled or distilled water and after you try it I am sure you will feel the same way, we have three dogs two westies and a collie and it seems as though they are drinking almost twice as much water as they use to because I feel it's better for them. I am sure that if it wasn't there would be something wrong with them and our veterinarian I'm sure would have told us when they do their yearly blood work and check ups. I drink iced tea and the pitcher that we made the tea in was stained on the inside and the tea was a dark brown color, after using the K5 the tea is lighter color and the staining is gone and there is no more sediment in the bottom of the pitcher. We have a built in ice maker and there are no more floaters in our drinks when using the K5. Our usage of bath and hand soaps, shampoo and laundry soap has dropped by almost a third. My wife was having problems with doing her hair because of being dry and after having the Kinetico system installed her hair is softer and more manageable. When we had Scott August come into our home and show us how hard our water was, it is so hard that it went off the end of the scale, and the difference that having the Kinetico system by having a smaller scale system to demonstrate right at the kitchen sink we were able to make a decision on our purchase, we were a little skeptic in the beginning until we saw the difference. Financing was easy and after having the system for almost one year I never know when its regenerating unless I hear my well pump run or the sump pump run, the Kinetico never has disrupted my soft water supply while regenerating. Overall we are well pleased with the way our system operates and keeps us in soft water and healthy and drinkable water, I hope you will consider your purchase and enjoy your Kinetico."
